Come Grow With Us – Volunteer!
Do you have a passion for gardening or history? Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow volunteers and join a well-established nonprofit organization. Train to be a Docent, Gardener, or Gift Shop staff at these beautiful gardens and historic home of world-renowned horticulturist, Luther Burbank. Docents and Gift Shop staff volunteer three shifts per month during our Tour Season April through October. Gardeners volunteer two mornings per month year-round.

Did You Know?
In California, Arbor Day is celebrated on March 7th, in honor of Luther Burbank’s birthday. (In many other parts of the country it’s celebrated late in April, as being a more appropriate time, weatherwise, for planting trees.)
In fact, California celebrates Arbor Week, March 7-14. You can find more information about local activities at Arbor Week.
